Job Summary
Night Custodian responsible for maintaining district facilities in a clean, safe condition on the 2nd shift. Perform daily assignments and checklists as directed by management and lead custodians, communicate with building administrators to address needs, and maintain building security. Responsibilities include professional cleaning tasks (buffing, stripping/waxing floors, general maintenance such as light bulb and filter replacements, plumbing), assisting with events (set up, tear down, clean up), and weather-related duties (salting and shoveling). Emphasizes customer service to all occupants and visitors and adherence to district standards for cleanliness and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Experience in commercial custodial services preferred
- Must have reliable transportation
