Job Summary
Direct, oversee, and evaluate training for department Team Members while managing budgets, inventory, and compliance measures. Plan and distribute work assignments, handle complaints, and discipline staff as needed. Appraise productivity to recommend promotions and coach individuals on development. Maintain safety and security for guests, Team Members, and products. Interview, select, and train new hires to reduce turnover and control labor costs. Establish communication plans to ensure all staff are informed and prepared.
Required Qualifications
- Retail work experience
- Store Leader recommendation
- At least 18 years of age
- Up to 50 pounds lifting requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Retail leadership or supervisory experience
- Successful performance as a Peer Trainer or other similar role
- Successful performance as an in-store champion (e. g., safety, service, wellness) or similar role
- Demonstrated product knowledge relevant to department
- Satisfactory performance and discipline record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing
