Night Crew Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise and participate in all night crew activities, directing operations and training personnel to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, rotate and stock products, and maintain a safe, sanitary environment while controlling shrink and preventing damage to unsafe items. Assist the Grocery Manager in ordering, receiving, and building displays, ensuring accurate invoice verification and compliance with company policies. Handle vendor relations, manage loss prevention during afterhours, and perform other duties as assigned. Work nights, weekends, and holidays with varying hours, requiring the ability to work independently with little supervision.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team
- Ability to work independently without supervision when the store is closed
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Mental alertness
- Knowledge of basic mathematics, inventory control, storage, merchandising and shipping and receiving procedures
- Mental dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
- Ability to cover for various positions throughout the store
- Knowledge and ability to implement emergency procedures in the event of equipment and computer software malfunctions
- Must comply with Company policies including grooming standards and dress code
- Must be able to work with little supervision
- Regular attendance
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to frequently reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 80 lbs.
- Ability to push or pull fully loaded hand trucks, six-wheel carts or pallet jacks
- Ability to climb ladders
- Will be required to work nights
- May work weekends and holidays
- Scheduled hours will vary
- Must be able to concentrate and deal with interruptions and customer complaints
- Ability to handle customer complaints
