Job Summary
Night Crew Supervisor leading the night crew to ensure store readiness for daily operations. Responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, conducting regular team meetings, coaching and training Team Members, resolving issues, enforcing health & safety, food safety and loss prevention, merchandising, inventory management, scheduling to meet financial objectives, implementing initiatives aligned with company objectives, and delivering exceptional customer service to Team Members, Customers and Vendors. Requires 2+ years’ experience in a fresh/grocery/de/dairy/frozen department with management, strong financial acumen, and proficiency with computers. Knowledge of Employment Standards, WHMIS, Food Safety and Loss Prevention practices is expected, along with the ability to coach, mentor, communicate effectively, and create engaging displays. Must be available to work evenings, weekends & overnight; travel to support off-site events. Accommodation support available upon request.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-years’ experience in a fresh/grocery/dairy/frozen department with Management experience and product knowledge
- Thorough understanding of financials with a proven track record of delivering on financial targets
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Understanding of Employment Standards, WHMIS, Food Safety and Loss Prevention practices
- Ability to role model and inspire behaviour consistent with our values
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Ownership to resolve issues with a sense of urgency
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Strong creativity skills and ability to create eye catching displays
