Job Summary
Night Crew Supervisor leadership role overseeing the night crew to ensure daily readiness, coaching Team Members, managing inventory and scheduling to hit financial objectives, upholding health & safety and loss-prevention standards, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced grocery/retail store environment; requires 2+ years of management experience in fresh/grocery/dairy/frozen departments, strong financial acumen, and proficiency with store systems; evening, weekend, and overnight availability with travel for off-site events; Longo’s Canada location in Vaughan, ON.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-years’ experience in a fresh/grocery/dairy/frozen department with Management experience and product knowledge
- Thorough understanding of financials with a proven track record of delivering on financial targets
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Understanding of Employment Standards, WHMIS, Food Safety and Loss Prevention practices
- Ability to role model and inspire behaviour consistent with our values
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
- Ownership to resolve issues with a sense of urgency
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Strong creativity skills and ability to create eye catching displays
