Job Summary
The Night Crew Leader is responsible for supervising and directing the grocery department during overnight hours, ensuring the pricing, stocking, facing, and rotation of merchandise. Key responsibilities include training new employees, delegating tasks, monitoring productivity and accuracy, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and providing coaching and support to the night crew staff. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing during shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Adequate math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs up to 50% of the time
- Dexterity of hands for lifting and stocking merchandise
- Ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in grocery aisles
- Adequate transportation to travel to specified stores
- Ability to stand upright for most of the scheduled work shift
