Job Summary
The Night Crew Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department. Key responsibilities include unloading merchandise, transporting stock, opening cartons and accurately pricing items, keeping store shelves stocked, assisting in building displays, rotating perishable goods, controlling damaged goods, and ensuring the assigned section is properly presented at the end of the shift. Required skills include the ability to read and write for tagging, lifting up to 70 pounds, and following instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas
- Ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
