Job Summary
The Night Crew Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department. Key responsibilities include unloading merchandise, transporting stock, accurately pricing items, ensuring store shelves are stocked according to allocations, maintaining perishable merchandise, and observing established policies. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lift heavy items, read and write effectively, and follow instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas
- Ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles for proper storage
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
