Job Summary
The Night Crew Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department. Key responsibilities include unloading merchandise, transporting stock to storage areas, keeping store shelves fully stocked, assisting in building displays, rotating perishable merchandise, controlling damaged goods, and ensuring a neat appearance in line with company policy. The ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 70 pounds, follow written and verbal instructions, and have good inventory management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product.
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
- Must have the ability to retrieve and place merchandise on the top racks in the grocery aisles for proper storage.
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
