Job Summary
Night Cook for Palm Garden of Mattoon (full-time) responsible for preparing and cooking meals in accordance with applicable standards and policies, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, managing inventory and deliveries, recording food preparation and storage details, collaborating with the Food Service Director and kitchen team, and developing new menu items and recipes while upholding high quality and variety.
Required Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen, healthcare facility, nursing home, or food service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen in compliance with applicable regulations.
