Night Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line. Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission History & Physicals, new consult notes, and discharging orders. Order medications, testing, and procedures when indicated for mostly step down and cardiology unit patients. Perform new consults with attending physician (MD). Schedule includes 12-hour day shifts covering nights, seven days per week, for locum tenens support. Requires Board certification, ACLS, BLS, an active North Carolina license, and DEA licensure. Credentialing timeframe is 60 days. Uses Cerner EMR.
