Job Summary
Work the desk during overnight hours from 11 PM to 7 AM, demonstrating welcoming hospitality to overnight check-ins. Perform night audit functions to ensure all hotel accounting for operations is processed correctly, auditing, balancing, and reporting on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations. Reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely function and optimal management, then run the night audit final after ensuring all revenue is in balance. Provide rooms management with performance data using gathered information and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Customer service experience
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work various shifts per week
- Attention to detail and the ability to compile facts and figures
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously over the telephone and in person
- Strong command of the English language including speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs)
- May occasionally require lifting luggage up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field
- An Accounting background
- Experience operating Briad systems and software
