Job Summary
Night Auditor role at Crowne Plaza Hobart (Part Time) overseeing overnight Front Office and finance functions. Responsibilities include managing the Front Desk during overnight hours, processing reservations (including cancellations/modifications), handling guest payments and billing enquiries, maintaining guest records, coordinating requests with Housekeeping/Room Service/Concierge, verifying postings and guest charges, reconciling revenue across hotel outlets, balancing cash and card settlements, and preparing daily financial/operational reports. The role emphasizes strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and learning opportunities within Front Office or Hotel Finance paths, with emphasis on safety and a secure guest environment. Requirements include 6–12 months in a Guest Services or Front Office role, familiarity with Opera or similar PMS/POS systems (preferred), Tasmanian driver’s licence, RSA, independent work capability, and flexibility to work overnight shifts on a 7-day roster. Based in Hobart or willing to relocate, with ongoing full working rights in Australia.
Required Qualifications
- 6-12 months’ experience in a Guest Services or Front Office role (hotel experience preferred).
- Experience with Opera or similar PMS/POS systems (preferred).
- Valid Full Tasmanian Driver’s Licence (or transferrable interstate/overseas – manual and automatic).
- Valid RSA (Tasmania).
- OHS/K safety awareness and ability to work overnight shifts across a 7-day roster.
