Job Summary
Conduct nightly financial reconciliation by verifying daily charges across all departments, balancing customer folios, and processing city ledger work to accounting. Execute the nightly computer processing sequence to reset systems for the next day, audit food and beverage and room revenue postings, and review credit card vouchers for proper imprints and authorizations. Serve as the overnight Manager-on-Duty in accordance with company policies, perform night clerk duties as a Guest Service Representative, and maintain accurate records while fostering a cooperative working climate. Requires 1-2 years of hotel night auditor experience, strong math and computer skills, and flexibility to work any hours or days necessary to meet business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 1-2 years experience working as a Hotel Night Auditor
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent math and reconciliation skills
- Organization skills and attention to detail
- Customer Service oriented
- Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute changes in scheduling
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to engage and interact with associates and guests
- Fluency in the English language and the ability to speak, hear, read and write
- Ability to work any hours/days of the week necessary to meet business requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using hotel reservation system such as FOSSE or OnQ is a plus
