Job Summary
The Night Auditor is responsible for calculating the daily income of the hotel by ensuring all guest accounts are correct and in balance, assisting the front office, and providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include performing check-in and check-out procedures, cash balancing, credit card processing, executing nightly audit procedures, generating hotel system reports, resolving guest complaints, and completing end-of-day tasks. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage pressure effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Two (2) years of previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the New York State Gaming Commission
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in hotel management or related field
