Job Summary
Balance and close the day's business accurately and timely, prepare the hotel for the next day's operation, and ensure guest and employee safety. Maintain a friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor during all guest encounters while responding appropriately to complaints. Keep track of arrivals, departures, and in-house activities, organize VIP amenities, and efficiently book reservations via phone, in person, or online. Process payment types including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit, then balance and process all credit card batches. Complete daily auditing, balancing, and closing procedures accurately and efficiently. This role involves night shifts any day of the week or weekend, with occasional day shifts or afternoon/evening shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk, night audit, or in a hotel
- Advanced math and bookkeeping skills
