Job Summary
Balance daily financial transactions, reconcile credit card postings and cash, and generate audit reports for management review. Perform nightly guest folio balancing, complete check-in and check-out procedures, and respond to guest requests, complaints, and emergencies during overnight hours. Monitor hotel security, conduct property walks, and ensure guest safety while maintaining lobby cleanliness. Prepare the front desk for morning shift operations and assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications. Some locations require driving hotel shuttle or guest cars. Requires flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; overnights required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends, and holidays
- Overnights required
- Drivers' License
- Insurability to operate company vehicles
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Frequent use of hands and arms for typing, phone handling, and guest interactions
- Occasionally lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (luggage or supplies)
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as required
- Clear verbal communication
- Professional appearance at all times
