Job Summary
Conduct the night audit by verifying guest folios, posting daily charges, reconciling credit card batches, and closing the day's credit card batch. Manage all overnight operations as the sole staff member, including handling check-in and check-out processes, answering phone calls, and assisting with concierge, bell, and housekeeping services. Prepare coffee service, deliver newspapers, and compile audit reports while ensuring building security and maintaining clean public spaces. Work Fridays and Saturdays from 11 pm to 7 am, requiring comfort working alone with strong attention to detail and positive guest interactions.
Required Qualifications
- An ideal night auditor should be comfortable working alone without any assistance
- Must be able to positively interact with guests in a cordial and congenial manner
- Must be detail-oriented and able to catch any errors or discrepancies in the computer system
- Must be available to work the 11 pm-7 am shift Friday and Saturday
- Familiarity with Windows operating system
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with email
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
