Job Summary
Balance and close previous business day transactions, complete daily financial reports, and process no-show reservations. Manage person in charge duties during the overnight shift, including showing sound judgment in making independent decisions and ensuring security protocols are followed. Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and handle special requests while following guest service recovery procedures. Monitor room availability, follow booking policies, and drive sales by up-selling rooms and amenities. Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with brand and local regulations, and attend all required department meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years prior guest service experience
- Prior night audit or accounting experience
- Excellent computer knowledge
- Communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Customer focused
- Ability to perform job duties in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
