Job Summary
Execute guest reservations, check-ins, check-outs, payments, and service procedures while maintaining brand quality assurance standards. Acquire local attraction knowledge to assist guests and ensure collections, including credit cards and direct bills, comply with company policies. Maintain control over keys, safe deposits, and property; optimize rates by monitoring competitor occupancy. Complete all required documentation timely, quote daily rates, and issue credits. Respond quickly to emergency situations and perform other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction. This role requires proficiency in property management systems, accurate cash handling, and passing brand certification tests. Work well with others while maintaining a customer focus. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods. Managed by OTO Development, an industry-leading hotel development company operating upscale select service and lifestyle hotels across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- proficient in administration of applicable property management systems
- ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
- experience in accurate cash handling and credit cards
- experience in maintaining security of confidential information
- can pass certification tests required to meet brand standards
- experience working with a computer especially data entry
- work well with others
- always maintain a customer focus and put the guests' needs first
- approachable and encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members
- comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time
