Job Summary
Execute guest reservations, check-ins, check-outs, payments, and service procedures while maintaining brand quality assurance standards. Maintain a friendly attitude with guests and team members, staying present at the desk during all hours. Acquire knowledge of local attractions to assist guests, ensure collections are executed per policy, and control keys, safe deposits, and company property. Monitor competitor occupancy to optimize rates, quote daily rates, issue credits, and complete required documentation timely. Perform other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction. This physically demanding role requires proficiency in property management systems, accurate cash handling, and quick response to emergencies. OTO Development manages a portfolio of upscale select service, extended stay, and lifestyle hotels across the United States.
Required Qualifications
- proficient in administration of applicable property management systems
- ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
- experience in accurate cash handling and credit cards
- experience in maintaining security of confidential information
- can pass certification tests required to meet brand standards
- experience working with a computer especially data entry
- work well with others
- always maintain a customer focus and put the guests' needs first
- approachable and encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members
- comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time
