Job Summary
Night Auditor role responsible for executing guest reservations, check-in/check-out, payments, and service procedures per brand standards; maintain hospitable presence at the desk during all hours; acquire knowledge of local attractions to assist guests; ensure collections (credit cards and direct bills) align with company policies; control keys, safe deposits, and guest property; monitor rates by analyzing competitor occupancy and rates; ensure timely completion of required documentation; accurately quote daily rates and issue credits; perform additional duties to support guest satisfaction; requires proficiency with property management systems, quick emergency response, cash handling and confidentiality, passing brand certifications, strong computer/data-entry skills, teamwork, customer focus, and clear communication; physically able to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, and squat for extended periods; property managed by OTO Development, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, tuition assistance, PTO, holidays, and travel discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in administration of applicable property management systems
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
- Experience in accurate cash handling and credit card use and maintaining security of confidential information
- Ability to pass certification tests required to meet brand standards
- Experience working with a computer, especially data entry
- Ability to work well with others
- Customer-focused mindset with guests' needs put first
- Approachability and effective communication with guests and team members
