Job Summary
Night Auditor responsibilities include overseeing front desk operations during the overnight shift (typically 11pm-7am), registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks. The role requires at least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field and a High School diploma or equivalent. College coursework in related field is helpful; previous supervisory responsibility is preferred. The candidate must be able to work independently, use Windows and company-approved spreadsheets/word processing, and effectively convey information, handle problems quickly, and respond to emergencies. Strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles
- Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
