Job Summary
Night Auditor & Hotel Operations responsible for completing end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and rolling the date. Processes room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit, and handles adjustment vouchers and related financial paperwork. Performs front-desk tasks such as operating the telephone switchboard, coordinating wake-up calls, managing guest messages, selling rooms without reservations based on availability, and balancing receipts. Conducts room checks, issues or reissues keys via electronic key machines, and balances bank at end of shift. Maintains work areas, ensures cleanliness and presentation of materials, and reports accidents or unsafe conditions. Builds guest relationships, adheres to company policies, communicates clearly, and supports teamwork to achieve goals. Requires ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform other duties as requested. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and less than one year of related experience, with no supervisory experience.
