Job Summary
Night Auditor handles end-of-day bookkeeping and night audit for two hotels, prepares and reviews the hotel management system for accuracy, and programs group arrivals in LMS. Duties include guest registration and room assignments, verifying VIP classifications, pre-registering block reservations, ensuring group information is accurate, coordinating wholesaler programs and contractual obligations, processing same-day and future reservations per rate structures, reconciling suspense accounts, investigating and resolving out-of-balance accounts, posting no-show revenue, printing and balancing nightly reports, and delivering the night audit packet to accounting. Requires strong interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, proficiency with Windows-based software (Microsoft Office) and LMS knowledge, and a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED and one year front desk experience. Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort reserves right to modify duties as needed.
