Job Summary
Balance and close the previous business day, complete daily financial reports, and process check-ins, check-outs, and reservations. Manage person-in-charge duties during the overnight shift by anticipating guest needs, responding positively, and ensuring security protocols are followed. Maximize room revenues by up-selling amenities and following proper selling techniques while monitoring availability and booking policies. Handle cash transactions, process no-show reservations, and adhere to cost controls to reduce expenses. After completing financial tasks, work on assigned projects, stock supplies, and assist other overnight staff. Close the financial day for the hotel and follow CSM guest service recovery procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Sound judgment
- Knowledge of hotel property
- Knowledge of local attractions
- Knowledge of hours of operation of hotel outlets and services
- Ability to balance and close previous business day
