Job Summary
Check guests in and out of the hotel quickly, efficiently, and courteously using the property management system. Process all payments according to established policies, accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, and prepare deposits. Register guests, issue room keys, provide service information, and answer phones in a prompt, professional manner. Up-sell rooms to maximize revenue, control safe-deposit boxes, and respond appropriately to guest complaints. Communicate any outstanding requests or issues to management for follow-up. This role requires standing for eight hours and basic computer proficiency. Full-time associates receive medical, dental, life, PTO, and a 401k with company match, plus a travel discount program.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software and hotel management system
