Job Summary
Check guests in and out of the hotel quickly, efficiently, and courteously using the property management system. Process all payments according to established policies, register guests, issue room keys, and answer phones in a prompt manner. Up-sell rooms to maximize revenue, accurately process cash and credit card transactions, and prepare deposits. Control guest safe-deposit boxes and communicate outstanding requests or complaints to management for follow-up. Respond appropriately to guest complaints with service recovery gestures to ensure satisfaction. Requires 1-2 years of customer service experience and the ability to stand for 8 hours. Full-time role with health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) matching at Excel Hotel Group.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years customer service experience

- Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software and hotel management system
