Job Summary
Check guests in and out of the hotel quickly and efficiently using the property management system, process all payments according to established policies, and run end-of-day reports. Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner while registering them, issuing room keys, providing information on hotel services and room locations, and answering phones. Up-sell rooms whenever possible to maximize hotel revenue, accurately process all cash and credit card transactions including posting charges and preparing deposits, and issue, control, and release guest safe-deposit boxes. Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management and respond appropriately to guest complaints to ensure total guest satisfaction. Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet software and hotel management system
