Job Summary
Conduct nightly audits of hotel transactions to ensure accurate financial balancing and process all cash, credit card, and account postings. Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, including guest check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, providing wake-up calls, and maintaining front desk organization. Monitor hotel security, respond to emergencies, and perform basic equipment troubleshooting while communicating critical issues to the next shift and management. Prepare daily reports and ensure smooth hotel operations throughout nighttime hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Visual and auditory ability to operate office equipment, including computers and phones, and to respond to emergencies
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as typing and writing
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
- Proficient in the use of computers and hotel management software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
