Job Summary
Conduct nightly accounting, reconcile guest accounts, and audit cashier work to ensure financial accuracy. Process currency exchanges, post banquet charges, and close the Point of Sale system after balancing all transactions. Monitor guest complaints, manage room statistics, and run daily flash and morning reports while distributing updates. Secure the bank, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and document maintenance needs on work orders. Review the Night Audit checklist, sign out to the relief supervisor, and attend required department meetings. Work the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am as a part-time Night Auditor at the Courtyard by Marriott Charlottesville UVA Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- One year previous experience in a similar position in a hotel
- Must be able to work the overnight shift 11pm -7am
- Basic computer skills
