Job Summary
Review prior day's books for accuracy and process hotel records timely. Check out guests to gather feedback on their stay and address any complaints. Assist tired travelers with quick check-ins and provide answers to questions during the overnight shift. Follow safety and security policies, acting as manager on duty if needed to anticipate problems and call management. Handle cash or credit transactions and assist with luggage or van service if required. This role involves standing for long hours and working independently.
Required Qualifications
- good verbal and written English communication skills
- experience in a hotel or related field
- accounting background
- strong, accurate attention to detail
- ability to handle cash or credit transactions
- front office software proficiency
- valid driver's license
- ability to work independently
