Job Summary
Handle late-night check-ins and early check-outs while balancing daily accounts and performing audit tasks with accuracy. Prepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports, posting room charges, payments, and resolving billing issues. Maintain a safe environment overnight and support guest requests by collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance teams. Take initiative with additional tasks from hotel leadership. This part-time role requires Thursday through Saturday shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with an approximate 24-hour weekly commitment at the Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa in Astoria, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit
- Comfortable working independently overnight
- Detail-oriented with strong math and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable and flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Thursday-Friday and Saturday schedule
- Weekend availability
