Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit; handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, and miscellaneous charges. Sell rooms to guests without reservations and operate the telephone switchboard to process wake-up calls and messages. Complete guest check-ins, assign rooms, and activate keys using the electronic machine. Count the bank at shift end, balance and drop receipts, and generate the Room Rate Variance Report. Welcome guests, address service needs, and maintain work area cleanliness and stock. Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the manager while adhering to company policies and confidentiality standards.
