Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit, and handle adjustment vouchers and correction vouchers. Manage guest check-ins, assign rooms, and operate the telephone switchboard for wake-up calls and messages. Sell rooms to guests without reservations and activate or reissue keys using the electronic machine. Count the bank at shift end, balance and drop receipts, and complete the Room Rate Variance Report. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas while inspecting materials for cleanliness. Report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager and ensure compliance with company policies and quality assurance standards. Welcome guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
