Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit. Manage guest interactions by handling check-ins, assigning rooms, operating the telephone switchboard, and selling accommodations based on availability. Execute financial tasks such as printing contingency lists, counting the bank, balancing receipts, and completing the Room Rate Variance Report. Maintain work areas, stock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and presentation of materials. Report accidents and unsafe conditions, follow company policies, and comply with quality assurance standards. Perform physical duties including moving objects up to 25 pounds, reaching overhead, and standing for extended periods. Welcome guests, address service needs, and maintain positive working relationships within the team.
