Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit; handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, and correction vouchers. Sell accommodations to guests without reservations based on availability. Operate the telephone switchboard, process wake-up calls, and manage guest messages. Complete room check-ins, assign rooms, and activate or reissue electronic keys. Count the bank at shift end, balance and drop receipts per Accounting specifications, and generate the Room Rate Variance Report. Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the manager. Welcome guests, address service needs, and maintain work area cleanliness and presentation.
