Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit. Handle guest check-ins, assign rooms, activate keys, and operate the telephone switchboard for wake-up calls and messages. Process adjustment vouchers, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges while completing the Room Rate Variance Report. Count the bank, secure it, and balance receipts per Accounting specifications. Sell accommodations to walk-in guests and maintain work areas and guest room cleanliness. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and address service needs according to company standards.
