Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges. Sell a room or accommodation to guests without reservations based on availability. Operate the telephone switchboard, process wake-up calls, and manage guest messages. Complete the Room Rate Variance Report. Process all guest check-ins and assign rooms. Activate or reissue room keys using the electronic key machine. Count the bank at the end of the shift and secure it. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager. Follow all company policies and procedures.
