Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit. Handle guest check-ins, assign rooms, operate the telephone switchboard, and manage wake-up calls and messages. Process adjustment vouchers, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges while completing the Room Rate Variance Report. Count the bank, secure it, and balance receipts per Accounting specifications. Activate or reissue room keys, sell rooms without reservations, and maintain work areas and guest cleanliness standards. Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the manager, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality assurance expectations.
