Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling dates. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit cards. Complete guest check-ins, assign rooms, and activate or reissue keys using an electronic key machine. Operate the telephone switchboard, process wake-up calls, and manage messages. Sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability. Count the bank at shift end, secure funds, and balance receipts per Accounting specifications. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager. Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Maintain work areas, inspect materials, and ensure uniform and personal appearance meet company standards.
