Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit. Manage guest check-ins, assign rooms, and operate the telephone switchboard to handle wake-up calls and messages. Process adjustment vouchers, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges while completing the Room Rate Variance Report. Count the bank at shift end, secure bank funds, and balance receipts per Accounting specifications. Sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability and maintain work areas and guest room cleanliness. Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the manager while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality assurance standards.
