Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit; handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, and correction vouchers. Sell rooms to guests without reservations, operate the telephone switchboard, and process wake-up calls. Complete room check-ins, assign rooms, and activate or reissue keys using the electronic key machine. Count the bank at shift end, balance and drop receipts, and print contingency lists for emergency records. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas while inspecting material cleanliness. Report accidents and injuries to the manager, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality assurance standards. Welcome guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
