Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit; handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, and correction vouchers. Manage guest check-ins, assign rooms, and operate the electronic key machine. Sell accommodations to walk-in guests based on availability and operate the telephone switchboard for wake-up calls and messages. Complete the Room Rate Variance Report, count the bank, and balance receipts per Accounting specifications. Maintain work areas, inspect materials, and ensure cleanliness. Report accidents and injuries to the manager while adhering to company policies and quality assurance standards. Welcome guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
