Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit, and handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, and miscellaneous charges. Manage guest check-ins, assign rooms, activate electronic keys, and operate the telephone switchboard for wake-up calls and messages. Sell accommodations to walk-in guests based on availability and complete the Room Rate Variance Report. Count the bank, balance receipts, and maintain work areas while ensuring cleanliness and professional appearance. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager, and comply with quality assurance standards. Welcome and address guest service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and maintain positive working relationships within the team.
