Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit. Manage guest check-ins, assign rooms, issue keys, and operate the telephone switchboard to handle wake-up calls and messages. Complete the Room Rate Variance Report, count the bank, and balance receipts per Accounting specifications. Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, and correction vouchers while printing contingency lists for emergency records. Sell available accommodations to guests without reservations and maintain work areas and guest room cleanliness. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Perform physical tasks involving lifting objects up to 25 pounds, reaching overhead, and standing or walking for extended periods.
