Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and processing all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit. Handle guest check-ins, assign rooms, and operate the telephone switchboard to process wake-up calls and messages. Sell available accommodations without reservations, activate electronic keys, and count the bank at shift end. Complete the Room Rate Variance Report, print contingency lists, and balance receipts per Accounting specifications. Welcome guests, address service needs, and report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager.
