Night Auditor and Hotel Operations

Conduct end-of-day activities including posting charges, running night audit backups, and rolling the date. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, and credit; handle adjustment vouchers and correction vouchers. Sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability. Operate the telephone switchboard, process wake-up calls, and manage guest messages. Complete room check-ins, assign rooms, and activate or reissue keys using the electronic machine. Count the bank at shift end, balance and drop receipts, and print contingency lists. Welcome guests, address service needs, and maintain work area cleanliness. Report accidents and unsafe conditions to the manager. Comply with company policies, confidentiality standards, and quality assurance expectations.
