Post charges to accounts, run night audit backups, and roll the date while processing room charges, cash, checks, and credit adjustments. Handle adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, and miscellaneous charges; print contingency lists and complete the Room Rate Variance Report. Manage guest check-ins, assign rooms, activate keys, and operate the telephone switchboard for wake-up calls and messages. Sell available rooms to walk-in guests, count and secure the bank, and balance receipts per Accounting specifications. Maintain work areas, stock supplies, and ensure cleanliness before use. Report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager, follow company policies, and uphold confidentiality standards. Welcome guests, address service needs, and maintain professional communication while supporting team goals.
