Job Summary
The Night Auditor will provide excellent guest service while performing nightly front desk coverage and hotel-audit responsibilities. Responsibilities include entering and reporting guest-related financials, balancing cash receipts, depositing cash, coordinating wake-up calls, preparing the front office for the next shift, acting as Guest Service representative and manager on duty during evening hours, serving as PBX operator during audits, and participating in training and front-office meetings. Must demonstrate strong mathematical ability, clear written and verbal communication, adaptability, and a focus on guest satisfaction consistent with brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- Complete brand required training
- Complete all required Safety & Health training
- On a daily basis, perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company
- Balance all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift
- Make deposits of cash
- Prepare the front office for the 'A' shift and reset day's business
- Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during the evening hours
- Act as PBX operator during the audit shift
- Attend and actively participate in all front office meetings
- Participate in all training and cross training programs
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Perform any job-related duties as requested by supervisor
